Owner/Operator Qualifications:
• Minimum driving experience two years
• Must have an acceptable MVR and PSP report (according to our hiring policy)
• Own a tractor w/sleeper
• Class A CDL
• Flatbed experience is preferred, but not required
• Carry Bobtail/Non-trucking liability insurance
• Comply with work comp insurance regulations

Job Description
Drivers are responsible for the legal, safe, and timely transportation of customers' freight throughout the United States and Canada. Drivers must effectively communicate with dispatch, shippers, and receivers to ensure they are achieving their desired schedule while meeting specific load requirements set by our customers. Drivers must comply with all DOT and local regulations including Hours-of-Service, Load Securement, and Vehicle Maintenance standards. Drivers' job duties include load securement, tarping and untarping of loads, ability to occasionally lift 100lbs from the ground to the deck of a trailer, driving in all weather conditions, installation and removal of tire chains in all weather conditions, inspection of equipment (truck, trailers, cargo securement devices), ensure the completion of and/or perform required and necessary maintenance of equipment, verify receipt of and obtain signatures from shipper for cargo loaded onto your trailer with quantity and description on a professional Bill of Lading, ensure your truck, trailer, and load is of legal or permit-able size and weight, document and verify all exceptions written on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt by receiver, maintain hours-of-service records in accordance with USDOT regulations, and follow all other policies and procedures as outlined and described in our Driver's Handbook.
