Leidos Defense Sector has an opportunity in the Integred Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Missile Defense mission areas.

This Software Developer role includes trade studies, system engineering, model-based system engineering, portfolio analysis, software development demonstrion and product testing and deployment to Cheyenne Mountain. Leidos is focused on finding the best people, processes, and tools th will provide solutions in da integrion and fusion, da analytics, da mining, predictive analytics, da visualizion, and decision support tools. This position will report directly to the Program Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement containerized environments for Java and C++ applicions.

• Develop mission-critical software supporting missile defense systems.

• Communice and document technical solutions for integred engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Stay upded on ste-of-the-art programming techniques and technologies.

• Conduct software design and code reviews to ensure product quality.

• Collabore with System Engineering teams to synchronize, schedule, and demonstre capabilities to customers.

• Manage regression coding and deployment delays with third-party contractors and stakeholders.

Required Qualificions:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software development or reled discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience. (Additional reled experience, training, and/or certificions may substitute degree requirements)

• US Citizen; Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.

• Expertise in C++ and Java programming.

• Experience in developing micro-services and containerized environments.

• Strong ability to work independently and collaborively within engineering teams.

• Familiarity with Agile software development processes.

Preferred Qualificions:

• Master's degree in associed field

• Effective communicion skills and experience managing multiple tasks.

• Experience in FORTRAN

• Experience with missile warning and missile defense

• Understanding of missile warning message types
