Supports Air Force Space Command as a functional area staff member responsible for staffing capability-based requirements documentation on policy, guidance, resource management, integration, and acquisition providing expertise on requirements in the Space Control mission area. Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO.
Experience and Education:
Desired 15 years experience and BA/BS or 13 years experience and MA/MS in Tech/Ops with specific experience with JCIDS, ICD/CCD, and SATCOM EMI mitigation. Must currently possess Top Secret Clearance and be SCI and SAP/SAR eligible.
Assist AFSPC Plans & Requirements in generating system-level requirements supporting acquisition of operational capabilities.
Provide functional area support to IPP, JCIDS, and RRP including Functional Area Analysis, Functional Needs Analysis, Functional Solution Analysis, and Integrated Investment Analysis activities
Develops/Coordinates all required JCIDS and supporting documentation for approval. Ensures DoDAF products are delivered and incorporated into JCIDS documentation.
Review and coordinate on system operations, maintenance, C4I, logistics requirements, procedures and technical manuals.
Review and coordinate on Developmental Test and Operational Test plans. Ensure system capabilities are accurately reflected and adequately tested to provide system/capability.
Develops and coordinates CCD to support funding and to identify system/capability requirements. Monitor/directs acquisition and supports required level of pre-employment test.
Administers, organizes, and/or attends conferences, meetings, and working groups and provides detailed minutes as required. Organizes/maintains source material in an electronic library database.
