2008 Fleetwood Discovery 40X

We bought this coach last summer thinking that we would use it to pull our enclosed car trailer to car shows and such, but as it turns out we decided to go a different direction. Since we were planning on keeping it for a while, we spent a ton of money to update and freshen it up. It was in really good shape when we got it, but it was time for some things such as carpet and blinds, tires, etc. This is by far the best floor plan that Fleetwood offers, it is considered the "home theater" style plan. We have taken it over several big mountain passes and it does awesome, I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere in the country. No expense was spared to make it right.

-46,000 miles
-350 hp 6.7 Cummins with the Allison transmission
-Complete BlueOx towing system
-8.0 kw Onan diesel generator
-Auto Level system
-Sleeps 8
-3 camera system
-2 roof a/c's with electric heat, 2 gas furnaces
-NEW tires (6), Continental HSR2 with 2019 date codes, bead balanced
-NEW carpet and vinyl throughout (coach smells new)
-NEW day / night blinds throughout
-NEW vinyl for the slide out toppers (awnings were in excellent shape as is)
-NEW full size ceramic residential toilet
-NEW faucets through out
-NEW Dish Network satellite (mounted on roof), receiver not included
-NEW digital TV antennae
-NEW chrome mirrors on both sides, rock chips caused the old chrome to peel
-Roof completely resealed last year when we took delivery
-Last October we took it to TransWest and had them completely service the air system, including the engine driven pump/dryer. They replaced several fittings and valves, suspension and brakes work perfect.
-All fluids/filters changed in the engine, generator, and rear diff last fall with an oil analysis done on the engine, which was perfect. Synthetic used in the rear differential.

Everything expensive has been done to this coach, it is in really good condition for the age. Like I said, I would not hesitate to jump into it today and drive it across country. In full disclosure, there is a place in the rear on a fiberglass trim piece that looks like a previous owner backed into something (or somebody into them) that wasn't repaired very well, it is about 4 inches square. It never bothered me, so I didn't work at just replacing the trim piece that it is part of. Four bolts hold it on, so easy enough to replace. Also, as luck would have it, within two days of us getting it to Colorado from Texas a hail storm left some very small dents on the driver side baggage compartments. They are not very visible and I chose to not spend the money to repair them, but somebody could if it really bothered them. I kind of felt like we live in a hail state, so if I waited long enough I would get caught in a bigger storm out on the road one day. It only dented the baggage doors on that one side because of the rocks that we were parked next to, no other damage any where.

It drives and runs perfect, it is actually quite fun to drive. There are couple of little finish up projects on the remodel, but nothing that couldn't be done in a weekend.

Price is negotiable, please feel free to reach out for any other questions.
Located in the Woodland Park area.
