Cameraworks is a locally owned camera store with new and used equipment--lots of cameras, lenses, studio equipment, darkroom, etc. We sell, buy, and trade equipment, plus processing, repairs and other services. There is always something new and different to deal with.
We have an opening for an entry level, full-time position, Monday-Saturday 9AM-5:30 PM with one day off during the week. Sorry, no students please.
We need someone with a working knowledge of photography and camera equipment, but we will consider training an exceptional individual with limited experience. Counter sales experience in specialty retail is useful and excellent people skills are a plus. Ordinary reading, writing, and math skills are essential; computer skills are useful.
The right candidate will have a winning personality, cooperative spirit, and a friendly, enthusiastic attitude. The ability to sell with a low-key presentation rather than high pressure is essential. The people here are generally mellow, easy to get along with, and accepting of diverse individuals and attitudes. If this describes you also, you will fit right in.
This is a nice job and a good place to work if you are intelligent, strive to do a good job, and are eager to learn new things. We are looking for the best people available.
Compensation depends on experience, and includes sales incentives, bonuses, paid holidays and vacations, medical and dental insurance benefits, plus employee purchase discounts.
