Selling the original six cylinder engine (223 cu in) and 3-speed manual transmission from my 1938 Pontiac Deluxe Six Silver Streak Business Coupe that I'm restoring and turning into a restomod. The engine ran and transmission shifted as expected before removing them. My dad bought this car in 1958 from the original owner and only drove it until 1961, when he parked it because our family was growing too big for the car. He bought it with just over 54,000 miles on it, and it currently has 62,952 showing on the odometer. The car has not been registered or on the road since he parked it in '61. He gave me the car while in high school (1980), so I cleaned the engine back then while it was still in the car and painted it as you see in the pics. It's completely original except the plug wires of course. I'm selling the engine and transmission to include all the accessories (i.e., carburetor, generator, starter, clutch/flywheel assembly, etc.) as a package and will not separate. Asking $500.
