General Duties:
Equipment Start-Up & Inspection
Perform daily pre-operation inspections of mobile equipment and crushing plant components, including fluid level checks and walk-around inspections.
Start, warm up, and prepare loader equipment for safe operation.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and operator area to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Plant Operation & Monitoring
Assist with plant start-up activities to ensure production begins efficiently and safely.
Conduct daily inspections of crushing equipment to identify wear, damage, or maintenance needs.
Follow established start-up and shutdown procedures, including safety alarms and sequencing of plant equipment.
Monitor dust suppression systems and ensure compliance with site safety and environmental standards.
Regularly walk the plant to observe belt tracking, bearings, material flow, and overall equipment condition.
Identify and report on mechanical issues, safety concerns, and upcoming maintenance requirements.
Material Handling & Housekeeping
Operate loader to manage material flow and maintain a clean, organized plant site.
Support general site housekeeping efforts in coordination with plant personnel.
Ensure work areas, walkways, and equipment are kept clean and free of hazards.
