Position Type: Full-Time / Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM
Pay: Up to $18 per hour, depending on experience
Jungle Reef Colorado Springs is an exciting new interactive aquarium bringing the wonders of the ocean and marine life to the Rockies! We’re in the final phases of constructing our immersive exhibits and habitats, and we’re looking for skilled construction workers to help us complete this unique project ahead of our upcoming opening.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in finishing construction tasks for aquarium tanks, exhibits, and interactive habitats
• Framework and structural build-out
• Installation and integration of specialized systems (plumbing for life support systems, electrical wiring, etc.)
• General construction duties as needed to bring the facility to completion
Requirements:
• Strong construction background required – proven experience in general construction is a must
• Hands-on skills in framing/framework, electrical work, plumbing, and related trades
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to a one-of-a-kind project
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
