Overture is looking for a Community Services Manager to oversee our day program in Colorado Springs, CO. This role supervises a team of direct support professionals - providing training, mentorship, and guidance to them as they endeavor to provide excellent supports to day program participants. This role also navigates and coordinates the day-to-day operation of the day program, including scheduling transportation, arranging interesting and engaging community and base site activities that program participants choose.

Skills in conflict mediation, negotiation and logistics are helpful! Previous experience working in human services is a must. Previous management experience is preferred. Commitment to inclusion and community is at the core of our work!

· Bachelor’s degree + one year successful experience in the human services field. Additional experience may substitute for education.

· Flexibility--requires travel between offices/around the community and willingness to work outside of normal hours to respond to emergencies.

· Must pass background check and have reliable transportation with clean driving record.

· Previous management experience preferred.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Modeling respectful, inclusive, and professional communication with participants, partnering agencies, partners, and members of the community (for both staff and participants).

· Ensuring a person-centered approach to all aspects of the day program.

· Managing and mentoring staff. Supporting them in career development goals, ongoing learning, and meeting state training requirements. Ensuring that all state rules and regulations are followed in accordance with Overture’s policies.

· Fostering cooperative working relationships and a positive team atmosphere; developing relationships with families, the people we serve, partnering agencies and community partners.

· Taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ensuring thorough documentation of services, as required by state regulations
