Is your horse acting up? Or do you have some horses that need to be started? Or maybe you are looking for riding lessons. I am a full-time mobile horse trainer here in Colorado. I come to you! I currently live in Monument, however my horses are located in Peyton. I am willing to travel anywhere in the surrounding areas. I have experience with horses of all types and pleasures. I have been riding horses since I was a little girl, however, I have been training horses for over eight years now. I have shown multiple horses in equitation, hunter-jumper, and eventing (show jumping, dressage, and cross country) in multiple states. I have a background in western as well. I have specifically worked with barrel, cutting, pole bending, gaited, western dressage, reining, and roping horses. I have experience with miniature horses, ponies, and mules as well. I also have my associates degree through Pikes Peak Community College.

One of my current projects is a 13-year-old paint I rescued from a feedlot who never had any positive contact or previous training. He was not even halter broke. Within a few months I gentled him and would feel comfortable putting a child on his back. I now have him on the pattern, and am training him to run barrels.

Some of my specialties include giving lessons, working with problem horses, helping rescues, jumping, flat work, western riding, trail riding, tune ups, green horses, starting horses, gentling, and exercising. Natural horsemanship, liberty, Clinton Anderson, and Pat Parelli are some of the training techniques I employ. I have worked at several clinics, multiple ranches (including a local eventing barn, hunter barn, Latino Trails Equestrian Center, and the Air Force Academy Stables), as well as with several private owners. Feel free to give me a call or text for a list of references, resume, or any questions you might have. I would love to discuss your unique situation and personal goals with you. Let’s talk!
