Ad Description:
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated live-in manager for a small extended-stay motel. This position requires a strong on-site presence, independence, and consistent follow-through. Prior hotel or motel experience is not required—all core duties are trainable for the right person.
This role is ideal for someone organized, hands-on, and comfortable managing responsibilities without daily supervision.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
• General property upkeep, mowing, snow removal
• Light repairs and emergency response
• Room cleaning as needed (average every 1–2 months)
• Renew resident room keys and assist with lock-outs
• Light office duties and resident support
• Maintain property standards and assist with promotions

Time Commitment:
• 30–50 productive hours per week, workload-based
• On-site availability required for emergencies
• Not a traditional 9–5 role and not a 24/7 position

Housing & Compensation:
• Free furnished on-site room with all utilities included
• Monthly compensation range: $600–$2,000
• Compensation is performance-based; maximum pay applies only when occupancy exceeds 80% and workload is managed smoothly and independently
• Refundable security deposit required prior to move-in (amount varies by room size and number of occupants)
• Maximum occupancy: up to 4 persons, subject to safety and local codes

Physical & Safety Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs per incident for short durations (e.g., refrigerator or AC unit removal/installation)
• Ability to safely operate mowing and basic maintenance equipment
• This role involves physical activity and potential risk during maintenance tasks
• Candidates must be free from substance use that could impair judgment or safety
• Any on-duty impairment or violation of the drug-free workplace policy is grounds for immediate termination
