Up for sale is a classic Sota Sapphire turntable of 1985 vintage, factory upgraded to Series V specs, and including an Origin Live Encounter Mk III tonearm (sans cartridge).

I acquired the table in it's original stock configuration in 2007 and, shortly after, sent it off to Sota where it was inspected, refurbished and upgraded to Series V equivalent with new motor, Delrin platter mat, custom OriginLIve/Rega armboard, dust cover and springs among other improvements. It still retains the original outer wood facing. It's in good working order and has been in my system from 2007 until now.

I can provide the invoices itemizing the work that Sota performed as well as the receipt for the $1400 OL Encounter arm which I purchased a few years after acquiring the table. Cosmetically in very good condition with very few blemishes. The outer wood facing has been cared for, conditioned and looks great.

Included is a Sota supplied shipping box, manual, and stock outboard power supply. The original dust cover was damaged while in the hands of UPS and was replaced with a newer, modern looking, hinged cover from Sota. The OL arm is mounted, but its original box, mounting instructions and tools are included.
