I have a 1961 Chevy Bel air with a cammed 350, and a turbo 350 tranny with shift kit. I have used this car as a daily driver while I restore it but I will be moving soon and don't have time or space for it. So far I have done work to the wiring, done a total top end rebuild, and put all new tires on both sets of wheels that come with the car. The exhaust has been relocated to under the rear passenger doors with new tips, the engine work was done by Franklin Rat rods and Customs in Salina Kansas. It still has drum brakes all around that work great, the tranny shifts smooth and it cruises perfectly down the highway at 55-60 MPH. This car IS A PROJECT. The body is perfect minus one small spot of rust on the rear passenger panel. There IS NO RUST in the trunk, as I said the only rust is in that one spot. As for the cam, the specs will be included in the pictures but the duration is .479 and the exhaust HYD is .465. This is a very large cam and even though the car runs great if you want to get the full potential out of the cam you will need some better heads which only cost about $400. NO the heads on the car are not bad. The current exhaust manifolds are the old ram horns that are highly sought after. As for other info about the engine, its a 1979 350 out of a truck. It has new plugs, wires, distributor, edelbrock 650 carb, edelbrock air cleaner, new oil, new coolant, new seals, new valve cover bolts, and new belt. The interior is all original, from the dash to the rear. There is also a new fuel tank that was recently installed. I also just installed original GM lap belts, and the white leather has zero rips. I just recently fixed the defroster and heater, however it has NO A/C. As for the rear of the car it still has a one wheel wonder rear end, and its a 3 speed auto. There aren't to many 61 bel airs running around that have a great body, and run smooth as a daily. I DO NOT have to get rid of this car but would like to see what else is out there. Trades are welcome ranging from 4x4, classics, muscle, and third row vehicles with money on top depending on the condition of the trade. Insurance on the vehicle with full coverage thru Hagerty runs 18 a month. Included in the sale are almost brand new WELD RACING WHEELS with brand new tires. If the wheels are sold with the bel air the price is $15000. Without its 13,500. Feel free to call or text me any time! My work schedule is crazy so as soon as I can I will respond to you!
