This vintage photograph printing machine has been invented by Joseph Thonet in 1926. The patent number is 1737440. Serie # 347.
The attached documents give an accurate description and details of all parts and mechanisms .
I got this machine at a garage sale and I was hoping to fully restore it. I spent time to fully clean it, see what small parts could be missing and check the wiring but finally decided to give up. Too much for me.
The electric motor and gear are working fine. The 5 electric bulbs ( powerful) and the pilot bulb work fine.
Some of the small accessories are missing and need to be fabricated. The entire electric wiring to be checked with some replacement.
The manufacturer label has disappeared. According to my research it is: Sprague & Hataway Mfg Co. West Somerville. Massachusetts.
Size: 22" x 27". H: 17".
Weight: approx 70 pounds.
If someone is familiar with this mechanism and interested, he is welcome.
