This Dutch cupboard was made by the Monitor Furniture Company in Jamestown, NY which was a prominent furniture company that started in 1919. This piece was made from wild cherry wood and is as sturdy as the day it was made. It has been sanded and refinished and the drawer pulls and decorative arrow pieces have all been polished. This was called a Dutch cupboard and is stamped on the back and in the drawer that it was #328R Bucks County Provincial which I think was the model number and name of this piece. The drawers handles are all original and the metal maple leaf decorative pieces on the side of the door are original. There is a small silverware drawer that is felt padded and divided that is in the left side of the bottom piece. The top is removable for easy moving. The top has one shelf behind the two glass doors. The bottom of the cupboard measures 42" wide x 17"deep x 28.5"high. The top piece is 43"wide x 12"deep x 37.5 high. When the top is on the base cabinet it is 66"high. This is a rare find and is now ready for a new home! If interested please call Sharon at 719-Four Eight Eight-3778.
