-- age uncertain, but the brass/iron construction indicates early 1900s/late 1800s
-- manufacturer not known; there are no markings on the microscope other than a stamped "143" on the lens holder arm
-- the microscope is missing the lens and a glass disc that would have fit on the stage
-- this microscope has hand lettering/numbering (perhaps from a classroom?), scratches, and surface blemishes; but, it still makes a nice display item!
