Silly voters! Lie-onel Rivera, Jan Martin, Bernie Herpin, Penny Culbreth-GRAFT...are still laughing at you, despite the election results. They have masters at the Broadmoor and at the El Paso Club that have paid for their influence via campaign contributions or other patronage. They will still get you to pay for SDS. They will still annex thousands of new homes in the Banning Lewis Ranch and provide city services at the expense of older, more established neighborhoods. They will continue to try to entice businesses to relocate here with huge tax-emptions and write-offs. Don't even think for one single damn second that they are remorseful and plan to change their ways. If you hesitate, and assume they have repented of their tax-and-spend ways you will end up paying for it. Turn your back for only an instant, let your guard down for just a moment...and they will have their hands in your pocket.
