I like booze, but please don't throw up on anything that isn't a bathroom.

Things the unit has:
- Kitchen with appliances (electric range, oven, microwave, dishwasher)
- Laundry room with washer and dryer (nothing fancy, but it's new-ish and cleans clothes)
- Balcony with outdoor storage closet
- TV, Xbox, stereo, cable, cable Internet
- Very clean carpet (that I would like to keep that way)
- Pretty much furnished living room. That is, TV, couch, and some shelves.
- Air conditioning/heat
- Tall ceiling
- 1 skinny reserved parking stall. We can go first come-first served on the stall, or knock 25 bucks off the rent and I'll keep it. Sometimes on weekends you might have to park kind of far.

Things I do not want, the lease does not permit, or the apartment does NOT have:
- Pets that aren't in a cage (I like cats but don't want to clean up after cats, dogs are right out. I'm not a fan. You got a lizard/bunny/parakeet/prairie dog town? I'm fine with it. You might have to ask the front office about fees.)
- Smoking indoors. Sorry, if you want to smoke (tobacco or anything else) keep it outside. I'm protective of my security deposit and like my air clean.
- There's a dining area, but nothing in it except a rug.

We've had the cops next door for noise complaints. I don't know why, since I don't typically hear anything that's worth complaining about (like, a hum through the wall), but do be warned that maybe we've got some skittish neighbors and it might not be cool to blast music/TV/Halo too loud.
If you're mega-squeamish about guns, I own some, so if that's a deal-breaker for you, sorry. If you think they're cool, rock on. If you just want me to keep 'em locked up and otherwise don't care, that's cool too.
Utilities run about a hundred bucks a month, Internet and cable's 111 a month (I'm spoiled and get the HD DVR, 18 Mbps Internet, and 4 IP addresses. If you know what that means, cool. If you don't, that means I can probably hook you up with any kind of gaming needs/weird stuff you got.)
I work during the day Monday to Friday. As much as I love being a night owl, during the weekdays it's not an option.
The lease is up at the end of May.

We are trying to get 4 people total in the apartment (so we are trying to find 2 people) so that 2 people will share a room and 2 people will have their own room. If you don't mind sharing a room your rent goes down to around 200 so if you aren't picky about your space then that can work great. If you want a room to yourself thats fine too, rent is just a little more. We already have internet set up for a pretty good deal with four people its only 6 bucks a month for fast internet, we invested in a pretty sweet wireless router which was totally worth it. My apartment is a two bedroom, full bath affair with friendly neighbors, free wi-fi access and three fluffy cats. The Citadel Mall, the $1.50 theatre, Entertainmart and the library are all within about five minutes by foot, and you have your choice of grocery stores a bit further than that. I can even drive you sometimes, if we're going together.

Obviously, utilities are included in your rent, but you also get other incidentals like laundry soap, TP and whatnot. You also get the larger of the two bedrooms, and the huge living room almost entirely to yourself. This is like renting a one bedroom but with a cool guy popping through to the kitchen from time to time. There is also a $100 deposit, but don't trash the place and you can have that back. I'll even work with you on it if you don't have it right now.

I'm very quiet, sooooo easy to get along with, and I'm looking for someone who isn't a sociopath. I'm interested in an older lady receiving this room, but that's mostly due to the reduction in drama and the willingness to clean that I expect from someone matching that criteria. If you're tidy and drama-free, then I'll consider you regardless of age or gender, and I'm open to any religious preference you might harbor, as long as you don't cause harm to befall others.

I've not had too much luck with roomies in the past; I tend to have a huge heart and not a lot of common sense. #6 Please turn off everything you're not using. I'm a hippie eco-freak even though I look like a Blues musician most of the time. I hate waste.

#7 I recycle. The bins are easy; one for plastic, one for metal, one for cardboard, one for glass and one for compost. It's easy. Are you willing to throw your stuff in the right bin? I'll run it down to the center when it's time.

#8 Are you going to turn into a psychotic dong-wielding cock-jockey three weeks after you move in?
