I have 2 kittens in need of a home. One orange and one black and grey tiger stripe. They are both males from the same liter and have been neutered as well as up to date on all shots. They are about 8 months old and still very playful kittens. They have also been indoor kittens the entire time. They already have names, Leo is the orange one and Toby is the black and grey tiger stripe. Obviously you can change their names if you'd like. Myself and my fiance are deploying in a few months and don't have anyone who can care for them while we are gone. To start I am not trying to offend any one.But I recentley read a post of someone asking if a Vet in the area who doesn't charge office visits.First of all.If they didn't charge vet visits how would they or their staff get paid.Veterinarians are not paid by the hour.They are paid by what they do.On top of materials need to get paid for,utilities,etc.Might I also mention vet school is harder to get in than medical school.And vets have a doctorate degree also.But they don't even come close to making what a human dr does.They love what they do.They have to thats their reward.SO paying $40 for an office visit isn;t all that bad.While your there for your 30 min or more.What if a staff member needs to come in and help hold your cat or dog because it is not cooperating enough for the vet to look at it.I also give you this to think about.I am not rich by far.But before taking on the responseablility of having a pet.I took into consideration can I at LEAST afford to have my pet spayed/neutered and for it to haev all its vaccines? If not how canyou possibly give it a wonderful home.HMMMM....Children are not aloud to stay with their parents under those conditions.These animals depends on us to care for them.I know I will get flagged I don't really care.At least one person has read this and I have said what needed to be said.

i need to know of a great shelter or rescue that specializes in bully breeds. we went home to texas for christmas and um, acquired a pit bull that has been severly neglected. when we picked her up she had been laying in the snow all day with no food, water or shelter. she's a good 30 pounds underweight, and days away from giving birth. we would love to keep her, she is a sweetie, but we already have two dogs, and i dont know enough about "Peaches" to trust her around ours. she does really well with them, but i need to take her to a place where she can be properly treated and rehabilitated. i will NOT take her to the humane society, i know upon first glance they would just put her down, and she's fighting too hard for that.

This is a very sad post to make because these cats are just so lovable that the thought of giving them away is hard to deal with; however, we cannot afford to keep them in our home. We hope that someone out there with the ability to properly care for them could provide them with a good home.
Simba and Kiara are brother and sister and have never lived apart, therefore we would prefer that they be adopted together.
Both are fixed and declawed and up to date on all of their shots.
They were born in June of 2006 and therefore are only 3 years old. They purr loudly and are highly affectionate.
They have lived with dogs before, but won't do well with dogs that would be too rambunctious with them.
There is no rehoming fee as we feel that taking them into your home is enough, however, we would like to able to visit your home to ensure that they will be properly cared for. There are some evil people out there who would love to take a cat to torture or sacrifice or just sell for profit instead of rescuing.
Please consider taking these two lovebugs into your home.

40 Gallon Tank (Colorado Springs)

My snake is getting a large upgrade so won't need this anymore. 40 gallon breeder critter tank, it's not intended to hold water(glass and seals not built for it) but is GREAT for reptiles or other small land animals. Glass with black plastic. Has sliding screen lid that locks into place.
Dimensions are 36" long by 18" tall by 18" wide. It's in great shape. The only bit of damage to it is a very small(smaller than a dime) melted area on the top rim, but it is under the lid, not visible unless you're looking for it and does not affect the structure or the lid sliding. Every other part of this tank is in perfect shape.

We have been caring for a beautiful female dog that was running loose. We cannot keep her long term but have been taking care of her. Humane society did not have her listed as lost and I have not seen anything on Craigslist under the lost section. I am not sure of her breed, boxer mix maybe?? She is brindle and white in color. I�m giving it one more shot at either finding her family or finding a good home for her. She does have a collar and tag with name and phone number. The phone number is not valid and I do not know how long she was loose. She knows her basic commands, is housebroken and kennel trained, she also gets along with my other dog and child. She has shown no signs of being food or toy aggressive. She loves to cuddle and give kisses.

After much discussion, we have decided to get a second kitty. We have a 4 year old male who is neutered and shots are up to date, so we require that our new cat be spayed or neutered and shots up to date (for the safety of our current kitty). We prefer an adult cat that is litter trained. It will also be an indoor kitty. I have two special needs children, one will not even pay the new kitty any attention and the other will give enough attention to the kitty to cover the lack of attention from his sibling lol. We have a 5 mos old black lab that we are looking to find a forever home for. He is a great family dog we have two young kids in our home who he is great with! He is a pure bred lab, we adopted him from family friends of ours who are the owners of his mother. She is fixed. She is an inside cat but does go out on occasion. She likes to go out to go potty. She does use a litter pan. She is fine with dogs and kids. Her owners have had her since she was 5 weeks old. I am told that you can bath her and she doesnt claw or bite. She has been wonderful with my kids so far and no major problems at all. I have a cat that needs veterinary care. He has an appointment tomorrow morning but I was wondering if anyone knows of any good, affordable vets in the area. I am taking him to Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital but I was told that on top of his diagnostic test and medication, that I would have to pay about $40 just for the visit. Is this normal here? we have a large black wire kennel. It is taken apart right now, and we havent used it in quiet a while, so we just want to get rid of it. They sell for about $80 at wal-mart, we are only asking $35

we also have an extra large dog bed/pillow. Our dog is rotten and would much rather sleep on a small one. We paid close to $60 asking $30.

I need to find a home for our 2 year old cat. She was born in a barn and been outside in Teller County (Divide and Florissant) all her life. She stays out in the negative degree weather up there. We had to rush move to the Springs due to loss of heat and plumbing in the home we lived in. Right now she is hanging out and I get up there to feed her between picking up loads as we move. But we are almost done. I can't bring her to our city home because we have big dogs that don't get along with cats. In the mountains she was fine because she could hide and get away anytime. I have tried to email you a few times and it keeps coming back undeliverable. We have a Shih Tzu who is 3 years old and has been a joy to our family. We have ATTEMPTED to get another one twice recently and one was given away before we could see it without letting us know first, the other one someone "offered more money" for the puppy so it was sold before our SET TIME to come and see it.
