JOB DESCRIPTION:  Griffith Centers for Children/Chins Up is seeking a part time Caseworker Supervisor for the foster care program.  This individual will need to have knowledge of the CDHS Trails system, Caseworker Core Services, child abuse statues and casework practices - preferably in El Paso County. This position will carry a small caseload which will require the ability to attend court hearings, testify when needed, and complete home studies, court reports and other written documents in a timely manner.  It will further require attending casework staffings, school staffings, and family meetings etc. and the ability to audit case files, meet on a regular basis with staff, cover other caseloads when needed and ensure that the staff being supervised are completing job duties in an accurate and timely manner.<br>
<br>
QUALIFICATIONS:  <br>
•	Bachelors Degree in Human Services/Behavioral Science (social work, human services, psychology, etc) from an accredited school<br>
•	At least 2 years experience in the child welfare system.  <br>
•	This individual must be able to demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills as well as competency in Microsoft Office Programs.  <br>
•	Ability to communicate and work effectively with co-workers, clients, other agencies, community professionals, the courts and the public.  <br>
•	Ability to assess situations and make prudent and appropriate decisions; ability to apply conflict resolution and problem solving skills.  <br>
•	Working knowledge of casework practices, procedures, and guidelines is preferred.  <br>
•	It is preferred that this individual hold certification proof for the following trainings:  CDHS Trails system, Core Services for Caseworkers and Supervisors, CPR/First Aid, and be currently certified to do S.A.F.E home studies.<br>

The general function of a Wraparound Facilitator is to be responsible for the implementation of the assigned client’s Individual Wraparound Plan and providing facilitation and support to designated youth and families. Ensuring team formation and facilitation is a major component of the job duties.

Entry Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Services with one year experience providing direct services to troubled youth and families. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must pass background investigations; CBI, FBI, and Central Registry background checks.

Most children will have supervised visits with their family until reunification. The average length of time a child is in foster care can be as short as 24 hours to 6 months. Some children remain in foster care longer depending on the bio-family or the adoption process. Reimbursement: ranges from 600.00 through 1000.00 per month per child depending on severity of behaviors and needs of the child. <br>

Developmentally Delayed children/Adolescents Ages 10-21: Children/young adults that are significantly delayed with a qualifying IQ of 69 or less. Some have medical needs in addition to the developmental delays. Each child has individual needs that may range from frequent doctor visits, PT,OT therapy and psychiatric care, and can include total dependency care to frequent behavioral modification techniques. The severity range varies, each child will be assessed carefully and placed in the appropriate home that can meet their needs. Most of these children will not return home and will remain with a foster parent for the duration of their childhood, they will transfer from foster care into an adult program in the community. Minimum Qualifications: <br>

1.	Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.<br>
2.	Minimum of 3 years experience in a fundraising or outside sales position that involves building and maintaining sales relationships at the corporate level with demonstrated success.<br>
3.	Possess strong selling and negotiation skills. <br>
4.	Knowledge and demonstrated ability to successfully identify, cultivate, recruit, and maintain relationships with top level volunteers.<br>
5.	Proven ability to understand and navigate corporate cultures to achieve goals. <br>
6.	Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication at all organizational levels. <br>
7.	Ability to plan, conduct, and participate in meetings, work in a team environment and interact with all levels of AHA staff, volunteers and public. <br>
8.	Valid driver's license, proof of at least minimum state required automobile liability insurance and ability and willingness to travel as position demands. <br>
9.	Ability to work outside standard hours as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends. <br>
10.	Ability to use Microsoft products, computer software, run reports and maintain accurate data. <br>
11.	Satisfactory background checks including consumer credit, motor vehicle, and criminal history.<br>
