The pendant is bordered with side by side diamonds and the center is intricately flowered, consisting of a total of four diamonds and twelve sapphires. The sapphires and diamonds are real, not lab created. I have the original receipts, case, box, even the bag! Before the quartz watch invasion, Lucien Piccard watches were regarded as fine time-pieces. Sadly, as was the case with many Swiss watch manufacturers, the original Lucien Piccard company was driven out of business by the quartz revolution.

This watch, a lady's dress watch in 14K yellow gold, comes from the golden age of Lucien Piccard and should not be confused with present-day offerings from the resurrected version of LP.

The tonneau shaped case is not as petite as most watches from the '40s and '50s, so I'd place this watch as one from the 1960s.

The gold-tone dial is perfect, and accented with black Roman numerals.

The 17 jewel manual-wind Swiss movement is in excellent condition and keeping very good time.

Signed 4 times: dial, case, movement, crown. Fitted with a period correct rolled gold plated mesh bracelet.

With the value of gold rising every week, you could buy this watch and hoard it for the melt value of the case . . .

This is a nice (good over-all condition) Limited Edition Indy 500 quartz chronograph from the TAG Heuer F1 collection.

The black dial is perfect, as are the luminescent hands; the sapphire crystal is very good to excellent.

The quartz movement has elapsed and total time chronograph functions, with split-seconds and close consecutive times register. Water resistant to 200 meters. TAG Heuer signed screw-down crown with double seal and PVD titanium treatment.

The 40mm case and screw-down case-back are stainless steel, as is the bracelet with flip-lock closure. The bezel is steel with PVD titanium treatment and tachometer scale.

The Oyster-style bracelet is snug on a 7 1/2" wrist; if you need a link or two my watch-maker can provide them for about $20 a piece.

This is a very pretty and original 14K lady's watch from Movado. Guessing from the design I'd say it was from the 1940s or so.

The case and snap-on case-back are solid 14K yellow gold. The dial is original and evenly patinated. The even-numbered hours are represented by applied yellow metal Arabic numerals, with applied yellow metal dots for the odd-numbered hours. I would not be surprised if the numerals and dots were gold.

The crystal is mineral glass in good condition.

The movement is a 17-jewel manual-wind and it is signed Movado Factories. The watch is keeping very good time.

Fitted with a period-correct expansion bracelet in yellow plate, it is ready to wear.
