DUTIES:<br>
A customer service based position that involves working in the camper services building greeting visitors, or may be assigned to work in the field in specialized duties as some parks. Daily interaction with park visitors requires effective communication and public relations skills. Specific Duties may include:<br>
 Provide information and assistance to visitors (distributes maps/ brochures, orients visitors to park facilities and amenities, promotes education programs, educates on State Park regulations, etc.)<br>
 Provide information to the boating and non-boating public.<br>
 Sell parks passes, permits, books, maps, clothing, firewood and other novelties<br>

 Clean and perform light maintenance duties, including litter pick up.<br>

REQUIREMENTS:<br>
 Must be at least 16 years of age.<br>
 Must work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.<br>
 Previous experience handling money and working with the public is helpful.<br>

DUTIES:<br>
This is an unarmed law enforcement position (Title 33 Commission) that enforces park laws and regulations; issues citations for violations; patrols park areas by vehicle, bicycle or foot. Responds to emergencies and resolves visitor complaints. Will complete reports and may be required to appear in court. Positions located on water based recreation parks will conduct inspections on boats and other water craft for aquatic nuisance species and will need to take appropriate action upon discovery of such species. Positions may also assist with revenue collection and verification, visitor services operations, education and interpretive programs. Certain parks may have specific lake, river and backcountry duties and requirements. This position will also assist with all areas of daily park operations, Assures quality customer service, facility maintenance, repair and cleanliness, assists with fee collection, accounting and deposits, and environmental education programs.<br>
NOTE:<br>
This position is up to 40 hours per week and up to six months in duration. School schedules MAY be accommodated.<br>
REQUIREMENTS:<br>
 Must be at least 21 years of age<br>
 Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license<br>
 Must be free of felony convictions or pending charges. Consideration will be given to all other previous violations of law, including misdemeanor violations, domestic violence, traffic and conservation laws<br>
 Must have or be able to attain valid current First Aid and CPR certifications<br>
 Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly<br>
 Must be able to work various shifts, weekends and holidays<br>
 Applicants must successfully complete a comprehensive background check<br>
 Must attend and successfully complete required Colorado State Park training (may include full exposure to OC spray)<br>
 Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area requires extensive whitewater experience and proficiency in class IV-V whitewater for some of its ranger positions. Applicants will need to complete a 24 hour swift water rescue class.<br>

 Preference may be given to applicants with or working towards a Natural Resources degree or similar education.<br>

We are seeking Linguists for full-time, on-site interpretation and translation services with skills in English, Pashto and at least one of the following languages:  Dari, Farsi and Urdu. Personnel can expect to be deployed, live and work in Afghanistan.<br>

Minimum Requirements: <br>
	***Must be a U.S. Citizen***<br>
	Willing to Obtain and keep a security clearance<br>
	Be deployed for a minimum of 6 months to a year<br>
	Proficient in English and two or more of the following languages:  Pashto, Dari, Farsi and Urdu<br>
	Personnel shall be physically capable and in good health without chronic medical conditions which require frequent monitoring/contact with medical professionals and must meet US military standards for deployment to the Theater of Operations<br>

Responsibilities:<br>
	Write and speak in clear and concise grammar and pronunciation in the Target Language and English<br>
	Conduct consecutive, accurate translations and summarizations of material<br>
	Provide idiomatic translations of non-technical material using correct syntax and expression to and from the target language and English<br>
	Ability to read and translate handwritten material<br>
	Scan and process material, utilizing the target language for critical and essential elements of information<br>
	Understand speech in a standard dialect, inferences and emotional overtones, and rarely need to ask for paraphrasing or explanation<br>
	Write effectively in most formal and informal exchanges<br>
	Understand all styles/forms of speech, have a strong sensitivity to sociolinguistic and cultural references<br>
	Tailor language to fit audience, counsel, persuade, negotiate, and represent a point of view<br>
	Conduct interpretation simultaneous, consecutive, escort, telephonic, and/or voiceovers<br>

The Contract Specialist provides assistance to the Contracting Officer of an organization and does not have any commitment authority. All actions will be under the direction, oversight and signature of a warranted contracting officer. The Contracting Specialist position will be required to provide professional work involving the procurement of supplies, services, construction, or research and development using the Federal Acquisition Regulations for formal advertising or negotiation procedures; the evaluation of contract price proposals; and the administration or termination and close out of contracts. The work requires knowledge of the legislation, regulations, and methods used in contracting; and knowledge of business and industry practices, sources of supply, cost factors, and requirements characteristics.<br>
<br>
The Contract Specialist position provides support to the contract organization and may be required to handle the following types of work:<br>
<br>
1.	soliciting, evaluating, negotiating, and awarding contracts with commercial organizations, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, private industry and State, local or foreign governments for furnishing products, services, construction or research and development to the Federal Government;<br>
2.	administering contracts by assuring compliance with the terms and conditions of contracts, including resolution of problems concerning the obligations of the parties;<br>
3.	terminating contracts by analyzing, negotiating, and settling claims and proposals;<br>
4.	analyzing and evaluating cost or price proposals and accounting systems data;<br>
5.	planning, establishing or reviewing contracts, programs, policies, or procedures;<br>
6.	formulating and administering policies and procedures to insure achievement of Federal socioeconomic goals, such as those affecting small business, labor surplus areas, and disadvantaged business firms;<br>
7.	developing acquisition strategies and directing or managing procurements;<br>
8.	providing staff advisory services in one or more of the specializations in this occupation; and<br>
9.	a sound understanding of ADR<br>

Skill Level:<br>
<br>
The Contract Specialist should have 3 years experience in the acquisition field or a combination of experience and higher education.  One of the 3 years must have been at a GS-9 acquisition level or at a GS-09 equivalent.  <br>

<br>
Salary ranges from $24 to $32 per hour depending on experience. <br>

	Support and assist A4 with the identification and development of Cyberspace Analytic Processes<br>

Perform preventative maintenance and swap out of failed system component parts. Install, test, expand, repair and de-install inside and outside copper and fiber cable plant.  Maintain all telephone and network vendor, contractor and government documentation.  <br>

Required Skills<br>
<br>
B.A./B.S. Degree plus 1 years experience; or High School Diploma, formal training plus 5 years experience in a telephone installation environment or Professional Certification/Unique Experience as designated appropriate:  <br>
 One or more telephone, copper, or fiber installation certifications highly desirable. Technical certifications may be used to offset education and/or experience.  <br>
 Knowledge of EIA/TIA 568B standards.  <br>
 Current or recently held DoD SECRET clearance and the ability to maintain the clearance is required.<br>
 Must be able to work alternative shifts to include weekends.  <br>
 Must have vehicle, valid drivers license and proof of current registration and vehicle insurance.<br>
 Must be able to climb ladders.  <br>
 Must be able to lift 40lbs.<br>
