Logistics Support for Air Force Space Command
Summit Technical Solutions in Colorado Springs, CO has a contingency opening for someone with experience in Logistics and Sustainment who can perform the requirements described below. The prospective employee should have USAF logistics experience preferably at Air Force Space Command, another USAF MAJCOM, or HAF. A current, active Secret or higher Security Clearance is required. • Assist A4 in the development of logistics to support Cyberspace operations, addressing areas such as maintenance policy, maintenance training, and evaluation of maintenance and logistical programs and function
• Provide technical support and assistance for Cyber systems, to include: support and assistance to A4 in the monitoring and tracking of Cyber system requirements as well as providing maintenance analysis, sustainment items for POM, financial plans, and budget execution
• Provide drafts to sustainment policies and programs for cyber systems which model AFSPC systems across the commands.
• Support and assist A4 with the identification and development of Cyberspace Analytic Processes
• Support and assist A4 with the integration of Cyberspace programs with current processes pertaining to logistics, sustainment, supportability and maintainability required for MAJCOMS, Air Staff, Wings, Groups, and Squadrons.
• Assist and provide technical support in development of action requests, point papers, briefing slides, quad charts, spreadsheets, memos and all government documents required that pertain to logistical sustainment. (Approx 15-20 total per month)
• Assist in identifying to A4 senior leaders the Cyber program potential impacts relating to logistical sustainment management of assigned operations and maintenance (O&M).
• Provide technical support in formulating supportability requirements into acquisition program decision documents such as the Initial Capability Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD) and Capability Production Documents (CPD) according to the procedures outlined in DOD, AF, and AFSPC policy, guidance and instructions governing the acquisition and sustainment life cycle management process. (Approx 10-25 total per year)
• Support a quarterly technical review on system manuals, technical order improvement requests
• Support A4 in providing an analysis of maintenance and equipment status information documentation by AFSPC units to identify and report negative trends in system performance. (IAW TO 00-20-2, AFI 21-103)
• Support technical reviews concerning the processing of depot maintenance requirements for AFSPC units IAW AF and AFSPC instructions and guidance. (IAW TO 00-25-108, and AFSPCI 21-206)
• Assist and provide technical logistics and maintenance expertise necessary to assist in the development and/or revision of AFSPC instructions, checklists, and guidance. The contractor shall provide logistics and maintenance expertise necessary to review and assess newly developed and/or revised DOD and AF level policy, instructions and guidance and provide comment to ensure effective implementation and use by AFSPC organizations. (Approx 10-35 total per year).
