Electromagnetic Design Engineer –

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be as a key and active member of the New Product Development (NPD) team responsible for electrical and electromagnetic design of NPDs that are based on Single or Three phase AC induction motor or brushless DC motor platform and other topology.
Key role in motor design, building and testing the validation of engineering samples, design growth and design confirmation samples all the way through pilot run and production ramp. Must work closely with manufacturing engineering and production facilities to develop manufacturable designs, and safety agency engineers to ensure UL/CSA approvals.
Utilize simulation tools like ANSOFT/Infolytica to optimize electromagnetic lamination of Single & Three phase AC induction and brushless DC Motors. Development and maintenance of mathematical models & simulations tool to perform analysis and design systhesis of single phase KCP, KC, KH, KCR induction motors and three phase induction motors required. This effort will include continuous improvement of tools based on feedback of design engineers.
Qualifications: Bachelor/Masters in Electrical Engineering required.
The primary engineering duties include: Design and analysis of structural, fluid (gas and liquid), thermal and mechanical systems.
Specifying, sizing and procuring process equipment and materials.
Device fabrication, integration, testing and troubleshooting.
Preparation and documentation of presentations, drawings, reports, operating procedures and test plans for company and customer distribution. Supervising and training engineers and technicians. Preparation of proposal and project management.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, energetic engineer with a proven background in the design, fabrication and testing of gas-liquid contactor systems.
A demonstrated ability to use design (ex., SolidWorks) and simulation software for design and analysis of systems.
Experience in administering drawing/document review and release procedures, as well as the development and administration of drawing and detailing standards.
Experience in implementing and maintaining document control tools and software (PDMWorks).
Prior experience in system development from design through fabrication, including unit scaling, integration, checkout and field operation.
Experience with project planning including budget and schedule management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
A Bachelor of Science degree with 10 years experience or Masters of Science degree with 4 years experience in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.

NORESCO’s Construction Group manages the design/build construction activities for large Federal facilities. Our construction management teams develop the scopes of work, project schedules, budgets, conduct customer meetings, maintain project records, hire and manage subcontractors on the job sight. Business is booming and as a result we have an immediate need for a Project Manager to support our construction project at the Bureau of Prisons located in Florence, Colorado. Project Management is performed at the project sites and Noresco expects project managers to be on-site during the majority of the workweek. We’re looking for a Project Manager that has experience working in and around Federal buildings with strengths in MEP, HVAC and building automation systems.
In order to be successful in the role of Project Manager, you will need to perform the following tasks:
Organize all on-site construction activities.
Interface with customers and supervise subcontractors on a daily basis.
Ensure all documents are contract compliant.
Prepare daily construction reports as well as monitor status to ensure NORESCO meets all contract related issues.

Travel requirements:
If not local to the jobsite, the Project Manager must be able to travel to and work at remote location as needed (typically 12 consecutive days; 2 full work weeks and a weekend in between), returning home for two days every other weekend.
If local to the jobsite, the Project Manager must possess adequate means of transportation to and from the jobsite.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
This engineering position supports the design of power generation and industrial projects. Projects include simple cycle and combined cycle gas fired power plants; new and retrofit FGD systems; NOx control systems; Owners’ Engineer, and reciprocating engine projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the design of steam and condensate systems, pumps, heat exchangers, cooling systems, piping and valves, water/wastewater treatment systems, and design interface with combustion turbines, HRSG’s and steam turbines.
Specific responsibilities include preliminary and detailed system design engineering, equipment sizing, specification, and layout, and development of control schemes and P&ID’s.
Design engineer duties include contributing to overall mechanical design, working with other engineers and designers, producing final construction documents and specifications, producing final procurement packages, and assisting with the coordination of the mechanical design with other disciplines.
May work in a lead capacity on projects as needed providing appropriate supervision and guidance of an engineering team, and assist with field engineering support.
Requirements:
BS degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum of 10 years experience in power plant design, emissions control, or power plant operations.
PE license preferred.
Occasional periods of travel to the project sites for field support, industrial plants, or supplier facilities may be required.
2. Senior Engineer: BS/MS with 8+ years directly related experience.
3. Staff Engineer: BS/MS with 5-8 years directly related experience.
4. Engineer: BS with 3-5 years.
5. Mandarin/English Technical Translator: The ideal candidate will have a technical degree from a mainland China or Taiwan university; a second degree from a U.S. university is desired but optional. Written and oral fluency in Mandarin and English-- and a sound grasp of technology and terminology are absolute requirements for this position (May share some functional duties with Engineer and Staff Engineer positions above).
All positions are based in Richland, WA and will require travel to mainland China for extended stays, typically three to four weeks in China and then returning to Richland, WA for three to four weeks. As a rough gauge, travel to China will be ongoing at 25% to 50%. Right to work in the U.S. is a requirement for each position.

Construction Communication position for a Windpower Project near Burlington, Colorado. Primary function will be to assist the construction managers in communication and coordination with the landowners at the project site, neighboring landowners and the local community as it relates to the project’s construction activities, working productively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholder groups.
Should possess excellent communication, writing and public speaking skills. Should possess technical experience and/or education, as this role involves: overseeing the execution and compliance of environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) requirements and procedures; ensuring completed work conforms to approved specifications and drawings; and implementing appropriate construction work practices and techniques.
