Primary responsibility will be as a key and active member of the New Product Development (NPD) team responsible for electrical and electromagnetic design of NPDs that are based on Single or Three phase AC induction motor or brushless DC motor platform and other topology. <br>
Key role in motor design, building and testing the validation of engineering samples, design growth and design confirmation samples all the way through pilot run and production ramp.  Must work closely with manufacturing engineering and production facilities to develop manufacturable  designs, and safety agency engineers to ensure UL/CSA approvals.<br>
Utilize simulation tools like ANSOFT/Infolytica to optimize electromagnetic lamination of Single & Three phase AC induction and brushless DC Motors. <description><![CDATA[A well respected and growing design-build firm based in Colorado is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to perform quality control responsibilities (onsite) for $10-million design-build government projects located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  We provide full Architectural Engineering, and Construction Services, primarily for the Federal Government, and operate as both an A/E and General Contractor for many of our projects.  We are a Small/Medium firm with field offices in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nevada in addition to Colorado.  We strongly subscribe to the team work approach concept.  The Construction Quality Control Manager will report to the onsite Project Manager and be responsible for ensuring that the construction, to include subcontractors and suppliers, complies with the requirements of the contract as well as other quality control duties.  Coordinate as required with onsite Project Coordinators, Superintendents, Field Personnel and interfacing with clients.<br>

Duties and Responsibilities:<br>

•Attend meetings as required to ensure project goals are met.<br>
•Communicate effectively with designers, subcontractors, construction staff, and clients.<br>
•Manage client and future client interactions and relations.<br>
•Certify that all submittals and deliverables are in compliance with the contract requirements.<br>
•Thorough understanding of interpreting specifications and contract drawings.<br>
•Assure that all materials and/or equipment have been tested, submitted and approved.<br>
•Physical examination of required materials and equipment to ensure they conform to approved shop drawings or submitted data, and are properly stored.<br>
<br>
Experience and Education:<br>
<br>
•Graduate engineer, graduate architect, graduate of construction management, or an engineering technician with ICC certification as a Commercial Building Inspector.  <br>
•5+ year’s commercial construction experience in Construction Quality Control procedures.<br>
•Design-build experience preferred.<br>
•Federal work experience preferred.<br>
•Quality Control Management (CQM) Federal Government experience preferred.<br>
•Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint required.<br>

•Responsible for Monthly projections and overall project budget.<br>
•Develop project schedules and material delivery schedule to maintain contract completion date. <br>

Experience and Education:<br>
<br>
•Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.<br>
•10+ years commercial construction experience in Construction Project Management/Estimating combined.<br>
•Design-build experience preferred.<br>
•Federal Government work experience preferred.<br>
•Proficiency in P3 or P6 scheduling software and RMS preferred.<br>
•Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint required.<br>
•Demonstrated experience in managing projects within quality control methods and procedures.<br>
•Leed accreditation preferred.<br>
•Demonstrated experience in management and supervision in a team environment.<br>
