I know there are organizations out there that are supposed to be helping these people but I think it's time we take care of things ourselves. I am no one important and alone I can do nothing. Therefore, I hope and pray that by posting this on Facebook, Craigslist, Myspace and Twitter we can get a large enough group together to help these people. I hope and pray this works.

IS IT WRONG TO ASK? I don't know - I just know my heart is hurting because we can't take care of things like two adults should be.

I guess I can only reach out - We just moved here 3 mos ago, and MAN IS IT EXPENSIVE in this state! We definately bit off more off than we can chew, and the expenses of living in a house (rather than apartment) are so high, we can't even buy food - We have our tree up but I'm sad there is nothing under it for either my husband our our 14 yr old daughter.

My sob story isn't by any means worse than anyone else asking for help - I am disabled and on a fix income, and my husband is working at minimum wage just to bring something in.

If you have any clothes (14 yr old girl - size 3/4 pants - size med/large shirts or some gloves/hat/jacket) I would be forever grateful!

Heck I don't even want anything but maybe something for XMAS dinner - I wouldn't ask if I didn't feel like we were at the end of our rope with all this stress - hard to be in the XMAS spirit -

I hope no one slams me for posting this - it took so much to do this, but I believe in the spirit of Jesus Christ and the hearts and souls of good people!

Me and my family was posting ads to help others in need. I love to help people in what ever it might be and give my support to are troops that are deployed and knowing by sending packages and letters to them made them smile was the best gift in return.

NEVER thought i would be in this situation and have to ask for help and hit up the churches for food to feed my family, an wounder how to make are house payment, wounder how fare we can stretch a dollar to keep the electric on or try and be frugal with are propane so it wont run out as we stay covered up by blankets cause its so cold.
My husband has been lay ed off 6 months ago and hasn't had any luck finding work even out of state. he gets unemployment but it don't come close to what he made before the lay off.
I had my own cleaning company back when housing was booming and doing great, Till the economy has taken a dive and just came to a stop for me. its been very hard trying to make it lately we went from $75,000.00 year
to $19,000.00 if we are lucky. We have 2 teens a boy and a girl that are Seniors and since we live out east its to hard for them to try and get a job then the gas cost?? My car was repo'ed then my wagons transmission went out. Are family dog was hit and died day later just Friday and it happen by my husband by accident as it broke his heart when he died. Not sure how much worse it can get.
This year will be the first we wont be putting up a x-mas tree, cant afford to put anything under it as my kids understand, They decided to go threw their unwanted warm clothes and want to go out and give them to the homeless to help keep them warm as we no it could happen to us.
In a time like this we have to swallow are pride and turn to others and ask if they can help us in any way and any thing will help as we thank you for what you can do.
